It's very detailed high quality asset of a loft in a big city. Great textures and lighting. Developer is very responsive and fast, immediately updated to new 2018 Unity version after we had an issue. thx!

This review was posted on April marked 4 stars but was removed as requested by the author who promised to refund it. Well I haven't got the promised refund after half year.
And the translucent reflection problems of this asset is still there based on some other reviews.
I think I have to deduct one more star for this asset.
Fairly speaking, this one should be great for any mobile VR platform. But as I'm currently only interested in desktop VR, when I switched the oculus scene to vive version with light baked as instructed by the guideline doc. I can easily navigate around the whole loft, it turned out to me that the scene ran very smoothly, FPS can be around 150 for most of the time, which is great. But almost all the objects looks not very realistic due to the low poly models.
Personaly speaking, I'd rather have one with higher poly and details but a bit lower FPS(90 to 100 will be good enough). As the title said it should work great for both mobile or desktop, I expected that there should be some LOD switches so that I can switch from higher poly for desktop if I want. But it doesn't seem like what I expected.
Btw, the viewport seems always covered with the translucent shadow of the rooftop when I walk around on the lower floor. It's a bit annoying. but the upper floor is fine.
After all, It might be a great helper for others, especially mobile users, but not for one who want high detailed desktop VR solutions.
Considering the high price, and what the author claimed on it's quality, I don't think it deserved to be bought, especially for the users who want to use it for desktop VR.

The low-poly assets should look as realistic as the video and the screenshots you are seeing.
Please make sure, you have the exact same player and quality settings as in the provided guideline document.
Regarding the LOD, we haven't mentioned this anywhere in the description, the pack is more a mid-poly than a low-poly one, the idea behind that was to find a sweet spot or a cross-platform content that could run as smoothly and flawlessly as possible on desktop as well as on desktop all while still looking realistic and physically accurate.
We really don't know what you mean by "translucent shadow of the rooftop" if you can provide us with some visuals maybe we can sort that out and help you fix this issue.

Assets are great but I have a problem with the reflections on the floor if you test them with the HTC Vive (SteamVR plugin) the reflections are wrong, I still haven't found any solution to this. The only one is to turn off the reflection script.

My intention with purchasing this asset, was to re-use all interior furniture models in my own project. I was disappointed to find that they are not as resolved as I was expecting.
The models have a pretty low resolution atlased texture (by room) with no normal, specular or detail maps. I am amazed at how good these assets look in this project. The lighting is fantastic. But if you are planning to reuse these assets with the same visual quality it is not very easy, and will require a significant time investment of baking lightmaps outside of unity.
So to summarize:
-If you plan on using this exact unity scene it is a great asset.
-If you plan on cannibalizing the scene and using the assets in your own game, be prepared to do a lot of work. The assets are in no way flexible.

We understand your situation and we want to help you out in overcoming the hurdles you cited.
Regarding the lighting, you can totally relight and rebake your scene in Unity, in fact the assets react elegantly to different lighting scenarios just like in the project where we demonstrated that by providing both a day lighting scenario and completely different night lighting scenario.
Yes we did remove the normal maps from the materials because normal maps are pretty expensive in terms of performance on low-end devices and we want to keep high frame rates for everybody specially when building for VR. Other maps are not that expensive and they are present in materials like specular maps (the wood material for example) and detail maps (the wall for example).
The assets are pretty optimized and that was done on purpose to keep the ploycount pretty low. On the other hand they are very flexible and work well in different lighting scenarios just like we demonstrated in the project.
