The Saloon is fantastic looking! But I had to give this 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: a) this crippled my FPS when I put it into my game, looks like I'll need to do a lot of tweaking to remedy this (URP version) b) the doors didn't work for me C) the rope asset for me doesn't work with my weather system and spins around wildly d) wish the interior was larger, it feels pretty cramped

I'm quite impressed with the Saloon but I'm slightly disappointed about the stair colliders. The current controller I'm using can't walk up the stairs which I'm very much hoping I can fix but would've been nice to have working out of the box. Other than that I really like the aesthetic inside the saloon and found myself creating lore for it just wandering around checking it out. Support for all 3 render pipelines was a major bonus too!

Excellent quality Saloon! The included assets are very high quality too.
One thing to keep in mind is that the saloon is a 30yr old building and kind of beat up. Like it has seen a few wild nights. Broken boards in the walls, etc. Our 1870s game needed something a little newer. It was easy to take saloon into 3DS and fix the broken stuff.

Be careful: custom refraction shaders (like windows glass, bottles) are too slow! If replace custom refraction shaders to standard shader FPS will double. Also scene have a lot of point lights with realtime shadows. If disable shadows FPS will double.

This has been the best asset I have ever purchased on the asset store over the past 10 years. Incredible quality and detail.
I ran into a problem with the effects on the camera and the developer got back to me in under 1 hour.

I had to do some optimization to run on 90fps for VR, but still amazing quality.
My only issue with it is that all the textures are .tga which comes up to 2Gb. I'm having to go now and manually convert everything to .png so they fit in our bitucket repo.
Still, great quality and respond from the developer.

The size (Mbs) of the source textures does not effect on the build size of your project, because Unity compress all the textures automatically. I use .tga because it's most powerfull and convenient format for editing and it's suitable for all the maps for PBR, because it supports alpha-channel and all range of bitrates from 8 to 32.
