a short introduction: I have been a model maker since 1993. I started on an Amiga. I have countless hours in Blender. I understand the type of production of any game asset, whether animals, monsters, PBR, stylized, or other, and therefore: I can evaluate the quality of an asset. Added to this is the fact that I have a lot of assets in my library and have been using Unity every day for over 8 years. I know the "Blacksmith" from 3DForge. I have a few other assets from the provider. The BlackSmith (free) has already really impressed me. What's in it? A single Atlas texture that covers the entire building. What's in these village interiors? ...it contains: - Creativity. - Very good choice of colors. - Excellent texture management - TOP! Optimization - Premade scenes that you can use straight out of the box - an absolutely fantastic order in the assets - top optics - super optimization - and a relatively timeless look (so this asset hasn't aged badly, like many others) The QUALITY of the pack is convincing across the board! Here you not only get an extremely large number of useful props, assets themselves, and building interiors, no! You get the modularity for almost any building you want. Equally in a top optic that is just as suitable for top down as for 3rd person and first person. All of this: for the stated price of 55 euros. Is the asset worth the price? In any case! On top of that, model makers get a useful, fantastic texture atlas as a bonus, with which they can easily map their own props in Blender and Co. What you DON'T get here!: - no Substance Painter waste! this is professional work! - no bad assets whose optimization kills your whole game. - no useless stuff that takes up your memory and ruins everything. - and also: no beginner assets and no garbage! in short: this is bursting with quality, love and professionalism. This is a top-notch asset that justifies its price and provides a perfect basis for a game in this style! @Dev: GREAT WORK GUYS! KEEP IT UP! that's how it should be! in times when assets are getting more and more expensive and at the same time getting worse, you are a true oasis! Keep it up!

It's a bit sad not to have this with better resolution, I'd pay happily to upgrade. There is an insane amount of posibilities, could be the best builder kit, but nowadays it needs to look better. EDIT: I'll give 4 stars for the reply, and because the asset is amazing. For sure I'll give 5 stars if an update is made.

Will be duplicating my review as I purchased this item as part of the Medieval Village Kit Bundle. In short, an unbelievablely beautiful collection of just about everything you could need to create scenes for Villages, houses, towns, castles, cathedrals, churches, taverns, pubs, inns, warehouses, catacombs, crypts, tombs and temples. Fantastic collection, everything snaps together, is to a proportonate scale, and looks so good. Few people have posted about the quality which I simply have to disagree with, with some fine tuning of light, this kit is beautiful!! Author is genuinely commited to his craft, keeps pumping out quality assets and gives ideas with his free PBs to compliment what's on offer in this kit. 100% recommendation from me.

This is a really great set for prototyping. But up close it is not that great. If you want a playstation 3 game. Then this is it. If your mobile game will need low quality assets then this will work. This is not intended for production. Very recognizable and many people own this. Its also not optimized. Its very low poly, but it doesn't have modularity. It comes with a few examples. Somehow you will have to build a world with these assets. I found it less useful than the exterior set. * Please backup your projects. That is a discipline. This is a requirement of development. *The author has not asked me for a review. - Mech

The only issue I had was that the torches did not have fire in them with Unity 2020.3.x LTS. I was able to add it. These are wonderful kits and blue prints. I recommend them and have purchased all of them from this publisher.

I absolutely love these models, and bought them in a pack with the exterior kit. They really add a lot of life to buildings, and with the addition of an animator to an exterior door, you can literally open up a whole level of immersion in your game. There are so many prefabs, you can pretty much make whatever environment you have in mind. The author produces a number of "blueprint" assets that use this and the exterior pack to provide loads of prebuilt buildings and environments. The interiors have some lovely little touches including lighting, and all of this can be tweaked to set your scene. I increased the range of the candle lights, for example, to give the buildings a warm glow in nighttime scenes. Materials convert just fine to HDRP, though I had to remove some collider mesh materials, but with no ill effect. There are also some objects without colliders, but all very easy to amend by adding your own. Really supporting author and very active discord add to this brilliant package!
