I enjoy the variety of props and textures included in this pack. However, for the price, it disappoints me that there are no included emission maps for the lanterns and fireplaces. Baked lighting is critical for me. I was expecting to not have to make those maps myself... but that's really the only bad thing I can say about this asset.

Best of Unity Asset Store

jasonsturgeson version 1.2
One of the best assets I've ever purchased from the Unity Asset Store, and an incredible top-down asset.
Demo scenes showcase the expansive capabilities of this pack. Brilliant subject matter, atmospheric and cohesive - attention to detail is spectacular and inspiring.

Overall, pretty nice, but there are a few problems. Some of the parts don't line up correctly (e.g. a few of the walls with windows don't match the non-window walls), there are no ceiling parts (even though it's meant for 3rd or 1st person), and (more a nice-to-have) none of the potentially interactive parts (e.g. chests) are split in pieces, so you don't even have the option of animated anything (i.e. open/close). Oh! And why are the two doors so primitive in design compared to the rest of the parts? The pack is pretty, but not sure it's very useful unfortunately. Would love to see it improved.

Professional modular assets. Saved me a ton of time/money building/hiring someone to create assets.
Pro:
+ Works out of the box, didn't have to do any special setup
+ Prefab sizes are all consistent
+ Very versatile (Eg. can have different themes, stone, wood etc.)
+ Professional level models
+ High Return on investment ( Would have spent more time/money building my own prefabs and module. So on balance saved me money)
Recommendations For Those Buying or Considering:
* Rename some of the prefabs. Eg. (change generic bed name to double_bed and single_bed)
* Create your own prefab for things like rooms. This will help you build even quicker (Eg. Create a standard Room_4longx4wide, Room_6longx4wide, then you can just drag you room prefabs and snap them together to create a building very quick)
* Work with gameobject hierarchies. It helps keeps your scene manageable (Eg. I learnt very quickly to have main "room" object and branching from that I had further groups for "walls", "floor", "pillars", and "furnishings")
* If you've never designed building before, highly recommend spending 5 mins looking at architectural blueprints and a few mins following alongside the demo video (even if just in part) to recreate their demo building
