I tested version 2.1 with Unity 2020.3.22f1. The model is excellent and so is the wide range of animations. The dragon prefab and the prepared animator (including all animations) can be used immediately. I'm looking forward to using the asset soon.

The model is great and the animations are too but as legacy animations they don't work with Mecanim in 5.6. Nothing happens when I use them in an Animator Controller. Is this the case or am I missing something? Thanks. Edit: It may have been user error, but it's working now. I've increased my rating.

hello and thanks for your support. Looks like you need to set up all the FBX files to use the generic rig set up and then apply. Once done use the avatar from the mountain_Dragon.fbx and drag and drop it for all the motion fbx and you should be good to start using the dragon in mecanim generic mode.
This model must have slipped through when we re set all the models and their animations to use the mecanim system (either generic or humanoid).

The dragon looks stunning in the new version and generally the remakes of the older creatures are beyond amazing.
Cant wait to see the new tree ent and Ogre as well

Oak Tree Ent and Fat Ogre will be redone from the ground up. Expect to be amazed by these future upgraded version. Thanks for the kind words! :)

I caught this asset while it was on sale for a 3D fly through scene I was making. First or all, the model itself is just stunning. The texturing is top quality...But the animations! These animations make this asset. I could not be happier.

I could have easily given it a 4-star or choose to ignore this review. However, since it is on Hot Deal this week, i shall review for the benefit of others.
It has an abstract class, Character Motor.cs, which the Unity Standard Assets package also has this script but in js. There will be no issue here, but if you are writing some of your own scripts that already call the variables/functions of the Unity Standard package, CharacterMotor.js, you will face a problem with this package's abstract class.
Its abstract class is downloaded from the internet and used in its package. I could try to solve this issue which will take me a bit of time but I just hate it so much when I'm trying to buy a art/model package but instead I'm spending some time to solve this issue.
A suggestion for developer or future developers: If you are just creating art/model assets, you can easily show your models' animations without doing much additional scripting. Sometimes, your scripts will create a bit of issues with developers who just want to buy your assets without going through debugging efforts, especially if we are buying multiple packages from other developers at the same time. Debugging authors' scripts is NOT one of the things we are paying for. That's really how I feel.
Furthermore, when I disable all my code and just merely use your scene and run it, your own scene already has some runtime errors while running...
Overall, it is still a nice package... but you got to vomit a bit of blood first if your own scripts crashes with the author's.

You can now update your pack to the newly released V.2.0, this version will absolutely amaze you. No little extras that were cluttering the package. Just what is needed to make any customer enjoy their purchase

The main character which is meant to have all 80 anims combined is missing all anims. The demo doesn't work because it's not configured with any anims cause theyre missing.
The anims can be found in 5 seperate prefabs and having trouble putting them together. Fix the demo and prefabs please!
Edit: Even after merging all the anims into the main Prefab, it is complaining about a missing animation called locomotion which is not part of the package at all...

hello, the pack has now been upgraded to V2.0. This version bring the mountain dragon to the next level: new design, new retopo with higher polycount geometry, new higher fidelity materials, PBR and legacy shaders suport, new set of animations with their root motion variations. Also we decided to remove all the little extra bonus items that sere cluttering the pack. You should check it out and maybe update your review.
