Good model // Difficult to use

DesertTigeron previous version 3.2
I picked this up for prototyping, but its quite complicated.
EDIT: There's a prefab included that works for this, but it's not well documented and takes some finding.
Its under:
01 Forest Pack->_Forest Pack (AC)->Wolf AC->3 - Prefabs.

Pros:
Animations and Models
Cons:
Root Motion and Spaghetti Code
Review:
I've had these assets for a couple of years and wanted to share my experience with them on a part time basis. I thought this looked great (they do look great) but there are a lot of technical issues with these assets. These would work really well for some projects but are causing me lots of problems.
First of all, Root Motion may work a little better in Unreal Engine, I don't know, but it's generally bad for multiplayer game design. Disabling root motion in Unity does not simplify the issue as the animations themselves contain transform data.
My next point, for some reason, these prefabs are all heavily scripted and so are their animator controllers. There are thousands of lines of code and a dozen or so scripts to do very simple things like moving, jumping, and swimming. Having worked with these for a while, I think the code is so intense in order to compensate for the animations lacking an intuitive design. For example, it would seem the Wolf and the Deer were animated swimming at different heights in the modeling program rather than using the modeling programs "floor" as a water surface to standardize animations along.
The flow of control in the scripts is simply put, scattered. I'm still working through spaghetti code to improve the logic and make it less demanding and more flexible for my project. The documentation is pretty bad as well, only the headers have been useful for me, which is a shame because the naming convention is arbitrary.
My only option beyond hacking at this to work better, is to rebuild it, rewrite all scripts, and edit the animations outside of Unity. That defeats the purpose of buying this - to save time. I would only do this if the MVP goes exceptionally well because I have already purchased them.
Inconsistency has caused a domino effect to play out and highlighted a lot of design flaws above. I will say again, I think for some people (especially really basic asset flipping projects) this asset will cover their needs right out of the box.

The animations are just beautiful, and lots of variety. Everything is very well documented. Everything is easy to use and intergrates very easy to pretty much everything. Not only are they great animations and a controller, literly all the hard work is done. And the utilities are just a huge bonus.

This is the MOST COMPLETE AND SMOOTH set for this price I've found since Explosivse's 'Karate Warior pack'. It comes with beutiful low-poly models, and advanced logic included. I would buy this pack for 2 or 3 times as much.

In the “wolf rideable” scene:
Why are there some missing resources in the wolf ride able scenario? Displays " Missing Prefab".
And there are still some missing scripts? Displays "missing ( mono script )".

Volcanicuson previous version 1.6
I used another low poly animal pack but i have never seen such amazing animations and the terrain logic.
Typically, when animating with other assets you get a dry jump or movement. This wolf calculates and makes the jump or movement more natural. It is amazing!!
Also, if you get down from a ledge, it will crouch and jump down rather than fall flat.
My only complaint is the lack of documentation. I wish there were more examples or informations to better set it up.
Otherwise solid 5/5!
P.s. please add a howl and growl animation.
