Was Impressed but things changed

meadowcreativeon previous version 3.02
I bought this Asset 2 years ago (2018), and at the time it included the Animal Controller and a working demo scene with the package (really amazing).
Unfortunately, I've come to re-import the asset to Unity in 2020, only to discover that the Animal Controller has now been removed from the package and will cost an additional $20+ to buy in the asset store.
In the demo video (still shown along with this package) it states 'Controller Included'.
I would not have bought the asset in the first place without the animal controller and demo scene included, so I'm pretty devastated. I'm now going to have to dish out additional funds on something that was included originally - it all seems a bit shady and underhand.

Don't get me wrong, the foxes are great and the animations are just what I needed and easy to use..
I do have to knock off a couple of stars however as I do feel quite strongly about misleading people; in the promo video it claims to include an environment, which is true, but it's just a single basic plane with the default foxes in a line on top, something that anyone can do, so to me it doesn't seem like a legitimate selling point. Given that it's in a video including a genuinely interesting environment I think this was meant to mislead potential buyers into thinking they're getting more than they are.
Great pack, kinda scummy practices, buy it if you really want the foxes, they are genuinely very well made, don't buy it if the environment was a strong selling point for you or if you don't want to support this behaviour in the Unity community.

I've gotten a crazy amount of mileage out of this asset - the content and code is all top notch and very reusable, and Malbers offers excellent support.

This is a really amazing set - its completely ready to go out of the box and has some great demos for reference. This is the first animation set I bought and it is so much easier than any of the others I have tried. I just drop the fox in, start sending messages from my controller and I'm in full control. The scripts are super configurable and have great public methods to let you put your own controller together in no time.
These guys have great animations too - very fluid movement.
I'm just learning, so there might be some limitations, but so far its great!

Foxie-Gameson previous version 1.91
Slight hiccup occurs when trying to increase the poly count of the model in Blender.
Blender's export settings seem to change the FBX somehow. I've even made no physical changes to the model and just exported from Blender. When importing into Unity, the same problem occurs.
The problem being that when I drop the new mesh into the Fox_Orange prefab, it visually melts the model into a ball of goo. A lump of scrambled vertices.
The model looks fine in Unity, it's only when I try to substitute the mesh in the Fox_Orange prefab with the one exported from Blender that it breaks.
What would be the best method for me to increase the poly count and re-texture these models? As I would like to buy your larger full animal pack but just wanted to test out the fox first.

When you import all the latest versions of multiple assets, you will see a script error in Unity.

Purchased all Poly Art series of nine [Bear, Boar, Cougar, Deer, Fox, Moose, Rabbit, Tiger, Wolf] except Raccoon.
We also purchased Horse Animset Pro and Ultimate Selector.
If you import all the latest versions of the above assets, Unity will see a script error.
Assets/Malbers Animations/Common/Scripts/Actions/Editor/ActionPackEditor.cs(12,17): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `Actions' could not be found. Are you missing an assembly reference?
Looking at the import process, it seems that the assets are interfering with each other.
Can not you solve this problem?
There is also a problem when importing only Poly Art series.
I think I recently released Poly Art Forest Set.
I did not check it because I did not buy it, but I do not think there will be a conflict problem because it is an integrated version.
I wonder if existing buyers will not be able to replace Poly Art Forest Set version at extra cost.

Hi thanks so. Much for the purchase... You can solve that error by removing that script... That script is no longer required.
There are various animations and the qualities are also good.
But when you see the fox from behind or from the top, the fox 's shoulders and hips looks strange.
It shakes too much and the shoulders are protrudes sharply.
I wanted to buy other animals too, but I'm a little hesitant now.
---------------------
I noticed that the Issues in v1.5 has been completely fixed in v1.6. So I adjust the rating form 3stars to 5stars with no hesitation. Thank you for making a great Asset.
---------------------
Oh my goodness. Now I recognized that I used 1bones of blend weights in quality settings. There's no problem with the fox, I am the problem. I'm truly sorry for my mistake. I would like to give you 10 stars, but Unfortunately I can give only 5. I will always cheer you. Thank you for the great asset.
