I found the base of the model very good just few issue with the fur and kinda hard to understand in first , but out of it this is good.

MIssing the Animator Controller; trying to convert the animations to ones Unity understands/can use, and it's far more hassle than it's worth. Avoid this unless you want to basically recreate these cat animations completely.

I am busy making a narrative driven game that essentially has the main characters from this asset, and I am quite happy with how things are progressing. The animations are probably the part that I am most appreciative of and I am busy setting these cats up with MalberS Animal Controller which is also going very well. I've shopped around a lot for various cat assets the past few weeks and the quality and immediate usefulness to cost ratio is probably the best around.

I was excited that this asset was in the package I got but, quite frankly I can't even use it, which is a huge bummer =/ The shaders require you to change everything about your project so it is NOT friendly to add to existing projects. IF that's not the case, then the current "if you have pink materials, follow this guide" does not work as of Unity 2021.3.17f Bummer I wanted to use them as the animations look great.

Details are stunning and I'm eager to continue using it, as well see other models. Hopefully this gets updated for Built-in 2022 since that version supports Shader Graphs.

Positives: It has lots of animations and is easy to use. Animations are set up for root-motion, I think positive but maybe negative for you. Negatives: It is expensive, but the the closest quality I have found cost more. There is no climbing animation. There is no animation controller. I set up this with Emerald AI 3.0 and Animal Controller just following YouTube tutorials. The climbing ledge part of the Animal Controller can not be set up as there are no climbing animations. The good: This asset is a great asset for cats. It has animations and Nice textures. Yes it was setup for HDRP. Honestly I used brute force grass shader on the cat and turned off the "fur" LODs and it looks great. The not so good: I know everyone was mislead by the video. I was downhearted too when I realized after importing that I could not move my cat like in the video. But, I believe the creator is working on it. He was able to give me an alpha version. Which of course works for some things and not others, but if the developer keeps working on it and gives a "catroller" for the Unity users I believe that this asset would be NUMBER #1! I will raise the star up to 5 once we get the controller like Unreal users get. Please, get it out soon. I think my game would be awesome if it had a fully functioning cat. And, I bet everyone would raise their ratings up too. Thank you!

I managed to make a third person character with Quadruped IK as it can be seen in the video so I'm fully satisfied. Maybe you could add an intimidating walk anim, a jump "in air" anim and a Siamese texture, it would be great. Anyway, great work, I recommend it.

Unfortunately, there is no animation controller included in this asset. It's a shame, because I've seen some very well controlled cats in videos. It may be useful if you just want the animation.
