Now first of all, SmoothCameraOrbit.cs code is not working out of the box, but wrapping it around a name space fixed it

This is a simple and fast to use, great looking giving package!
Add with few clicks a real sense of liveness and sure for details, that players will notice.
Models are cured, nice and realistic, but pig... pig is cute, but cartoon stile. I would like also a realistic one.
Indeed an asset to get for our toolbelt!

It comes with the lot of features, and few nice models of animals to use out of the box. Appreciated for all unity versions backward support, as well, that's well done. And for animals finding their way by the ray method.
For our 5 stars upgrade - it will only need to have a bit more modular friendly method after the character reaches zero health. Currently on that place is not very modular and flexible yet. To add for an instance - ragdoll prefab replace model method etc will be much better. So what happens in the script from the point of character zero health is very complicated, for our vote and not even needed, with that endless-repeating death animation loop set at the end of the method. Such cyclic-redunancy code methods can be also dangerous project wise, messing with other assets methods, as well. This is just for a feedback 'n tips, for our vote, after the integration into our project. There is one thing visible, that for our advice the dev will need to think of, a bit more seriously: modularity. And keeping (getting) all the things on the Default layer perhaps as well. Overall - we would recommend the asset, being pretty adjustable and we can't wait for the further improvements, to up the rating. Apr 2022, Unity 2017 LTS :).

Romaing area is not working as I saw... The animals move through the romaing area....not stay there!

Hi there,
Thank you for your review.
Make sure that the animals are connected to the controller.
You can also use invisible box colliders(set as triggers) to make sure they don't stray.

Found out it only worked for legacy animations.
Contacted developer to ask about generic animations for custom models.
Developer implemented generic animations within a week.
Excellent!

I bought this a LONG time back (mainly for the rats), and have used it in a couple of projects (mainly the rats), so it's very remiss of me not to have reviewed it before now
Anyway, yeah, it has rats! And, I guess, other critters too. Pretty much just drag and drop, and you have rats wandering around the place
(And, yanno, other animals, if that's what you really want. But, why would you, when it has RATS!)

After a few hiccups at the start (I'm a game level design beginner) now works perfectly... no helping hand from the developer, though. Using just basic feature (animals are roaming around) but looking forward to explore some other features (chasing, blocked areas, adding new 3D models...).

I've buyed today and my cows are already on the field to run and eat the grass.
I can't understand how to prevent that my cows climb a High Mountain up and down. I've set the max angle of the ground as 5 degrees but my cows climb over 45 degrees.
Another thing, how to prevent that the animal Walk under my house. The animal Walk on the terrain layered GROUND and when come near to my house Walk under the house because under my house there are the terrain layered GROUND. Bad Beast of evil.

When looking for a solution to the adding of critters to my game it seemed there was either total rubbish or something extremely complicated. Then I found HerdSim. I had already bought one of the developer's other products so I pretty-much already knew HerdSim would be super easy to implement - and it was. I strongly urge anyone who wants to be up and running with critters fast to check this product out.
About the only thing that I would have liked to have seen would be the means to facilitate critters that can be killed and spawn a death object prefab at their position. I have already implemented this myself but it would be much better and cleaner if it were part of HerdSim.
Another great product from the developer and I look forward to seeing how this and other products I have purchased progress.
