A comprehensive, high-quality animation pack compatible with Unity’s Mecanim system. The animations are smooth and realistic, easy to use, and cover most essential character movements for RPG games. Highly recommended for developers.

I don't want to be too hash because this is a free asset after all. But damn, this asset is incredibly bloated. The character prefab that comes with it is extremely finnicky. It is definitely not an easy drag and drop, you need to setup a bunch of things before it can work. The setup itself is ancient, it still uses old unity GUI scripts that were prevalent maybe 10 or 12 years ago. Documentation is not updated (you copy and example code snippet from the documentation into a script and you will get errors because they changed how it works and forgot to update the documentation). The character prefab has, I kid you not, SEVEN scripts for it to function. And then there are other scripts needed to be in the scene for it to work without giving out errors. After 2 hours of fumbling with what should have been a simpler task, I just gave up and made my own character controller + simple movement script from scratch and reused the animations If you are getting this solely for the animation files, which in my opinion is what this asset should be about, then go for it! The animations are all excellent! However if you want a drag-and-drop working prefab character that is simple to use and understand, then this is definitely not for you.
