Can I get a Maya file for this mocap?

Hi, Can I get a Maya file for this mocap? I need the mocap animation and have purchased it, but it only opens in Unity. Any way you can export it for Maya? I thought the FBX will contain 39 animations. Thanks

Good and realistic

The set is very balanced and the animations fit together. All those are very natural. It would be great if there were more types of animations like "sitting down" or more different idle animation types.

Best female walk animations in the asset store.

Their is not many female animation assets that are as good as this. Unlike every other female asset on Unity, the walk animations are not "to sexy" or "robotic like". It seems to have been motion captured of a real female walking.

With a little bit of programming experience it's easy to grab and use the animator values in a script to make your female npcs walk around elegantly. If you are really using it for AI, then you should also use the Walk Forward Arch Left/Right animations for natural walk turns, which aren't present inside the animator by default.

Outstanding Animations

As a faithful Mixamo All Access Customer I find most animations to be sub-par and clunky. I noticed Kubold in UE4 and realized how clean and fluid the animations are. These are happily in my animation collection and being used in place of quite a number of the Mixamo slated ones as well......simply that good. One note here that can be slightly problematic is the Idle position. Blending in Emotes from Mixamo and these will most likely need a middle mode blend to the Mixamo neutral position then blend back after the emote completes. A little extra work but worth it in the end.

wonderful motions, but a t-pose is missing

The motions are absolutely perfect. The quality is simply the best I have seen so far, made me immediately buy the publishers other motions. What I am missing though (apart from a run motion, but that was clear from the asset description) is a t-pose clip for the included dummy in the fbx file. Without T-Pose it is hard to edit the motions (I wanted to modify the motions because of my charcters extremely wide hips). Anyway, it was not hard to create a T-Stance myself with the dummy figure provided, so in conclusion: these (I include the other Human animset by Kubol in that) are the best human mocap files I have ever worked with , I know what work it is to cleanup Mocap properly and this work here is nothing short of perfect .

Good quality with one issue

The left arm swings much more than the right one. I will give 5/5 stars if the dev fixes or at least adjusts that a bit. I'm also looking forward to a running version. Thanks! --- Respone to Publisher: I can't argue against your "artistic choice" other than that I don't like it but I disagree in that it's "clearly visible" in the promo video. This was one of the reasons why I was asking you for a WebPlayer demo in the comment section of your youtube video months ago: I wanted to check the animations more carefully. As for the tweaking: I might be able to do it in Blender but that's definitely no easy road to go.

Thanks for the review! But I must refuse your request, I don't want to make the arms movement more even. This is a natural way this actress walked during the motion capture session. Exactly 1:1, nothing was exaggerated. It's clearly visible on the promo video, so buyers can decide if they are ok with the movement style. All the little personal, specific movements like that, determine if the animation is natural, human and sexy, or robotic and mathematically correct - but without the "human" factor. I wanted to make the female set 100% natural, no compromises. My assets are in FBX format, so you can tweak them no problem in MayaLT, Blender or Motionbuilder, if you don't agree with my artistic choices :). Not only are the indivdual animations realy good quality, a lot of thought went into extra animtaions to improve blending. You don't see that in a lot of animation packs and it make a big differance.

No Root motion propirties

Good set of animations, but unusable in our case because there are not any "root motion" properties for these animations. I don't understand how it's done exactly, but it's major difference from previous set of animations. So there is always "root motion" enabled for all of axises. :( Edit: it seems it uses Pro feature for root motion animation.(in editor i see notification "root animated by curves" ) After i've imported fbx as a new I be able to configure animations as i wanted.
