Render pipeline compatibility
The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. This package is made to be used in the HDRP. It also uses TextMesh Pro for the demo scene. The flipbook source files are included if you would like to use them in other pipe-lines.


Description

Add some oomph to your game with stylized animated blood decals. 15 Variations are included to give you decals for a variety of situations and weapon types. The source files and single image decals are included as well if you want to use them to decorate your scene.


While this asset is designed to plug-and-play in the HDRP, the source files are included if

you wish to use this asset in other rendering pipelines or software.

Technical details

Each flipbook has 64 frames and a custom class (YI_Decal component). This class gives

you special control over the decals allowing you to:

  • Play and reset the decal animation - ideal for object pooling
  • "Dripping Animation FPS", using this float you can dynamically increase/decrease the
  • speed of the trickle effects after the initial splash animation
  • "Fade Out Delay Time" option, giving you control over how long the decal will stay
  • fully visible before fading out
  • "Fade Out Duration" option, giving you control over how long the decal will require to
  • fade out from fully visible to fully invisible
  • Auto-Reset: When the decal is fully invisible, the decal will automatically reset itself to
  • be played again. If you don't use object pooling, you can replace this with destroying
  • the object.

Number of Materials: 1 Shader - 15 Animated Decal Materials

Number of Textures: 30 Masks, 30 Normals maps

Texture Resolutions: 8k source files included, 4k inside the engine, 1024x1024 for small
