Glad to hear everything worked well with Unity 6.3 LTS, URP. There are indeed no known issues with this.

The asset is greate but i am having so many issues with the materials in urp. I tried converting them but still shows pink and secondly if i try to add connections i get this error

Thank you for rating the asset.
Could you please contact us with support questions, our email is in the readme file in the EasyRoads3D root directory. It will be easier to communicate and resolve issues.
Regarding the pink materials, how were the materials converted? Just in case, the Unity Render Pipeline Conversion tool can only convert Unity built-in shaders. For both URP and HDRP version specific material packages are available in /Assets/Naturemanufacture Assets/HD Roads/SRP Support/. Is the respective package imported in your project?
Regarding the connection issue, which road types an connections are involved? The shape (vertex node setup) of the two connections must match in order to connect the two. All HD Roads road types and intersection prefabs should connect without issues unless the road type setup was changed in a way that the shapes no longer match. When the shapes do not match for example I Connectors can be used as a quick way to connect roads with different shapes.

[Update] You mention URP 16.0.5, the error is thrown in 'NatureManufacture Shaders/HD SRP Cross Road Material', this shader is for HDRP. Which packages do you have imported? If this is an URP project, can you remove this shader from /Assets/NatureManufacture/HD Roads/Shaders/

Glad to hear you like the tool!
Regarding the build error, it points to 'Universal Render Pipeline/Lit', this is a Unity built-in shader, it is not a shader part of the EasyRoads3D Pro Add On - HD Roads package.
Could you please contact us directly for support questions with full details instead of posting them here in the review section? That way it will be easier to provide support. Contact details are for example in the support notes in the /Assets/Naturemanufacture/HD Roads/ folder.

The Naturemanfacture Team created the package for EasyRoads3D, especially with regard to the intersection / connection prefabs. We are maintaining it to keep on supporting new Unity versions, especially with regard to URP and HDRP. So the package is still 100% supported and working in new Unity versions.

I previously rated this a 3 but I am now changing this to a 5 as it is now working great. I have now figured out how to convert materials to urp. great system overall and by far best road system asset in unity. thanks so much for this asset.

For anyone having issues with URP or HDRP, the short PDF docs in /Assets/Naturemanufacture/HD Roads/ includes info. It is a matter of importing the matching HDRP or URP package in /Assets/Naturemanufacture/HD Roads/SRP Support/. Also note the additional info for HDRP in the docs regarding removing two shaders first. It is a simple, easy but necessary step before importing the HDRP package. All materials will automatically convert, no need to manually change shaders on materials.

After purchasing the EasyRoads3D pack i bought this addon thinking it would solve all the issues with pink shaders just by importing the HD settings for this pack but no, I still had to change all textures manually after converting to HDRP, when that was done, I found the quality of the textures isn't really great & the sidewalks look pretty bad when you first take a look at the demo scene provided.
I thought the scale of the roads was a little thin, so you need to rescale them, the basic road textures are too clean looking with no marks or dirt, lose gravels or trash debris which you'll need to add because these packs don't offer any roadside extras or more road textures other than cobble stone which is the only material to convert fully to HDRP after using the HDRP import settings that come with this pack.
For most people if you don't know how to convert a texture this doesn't come ready made & if you open the demo scene without converting all materials & textures the map will be bright pink, takes way too much time to setup & use for quality that isn't really great unless you add your own textures over these assets which i don't find it useful or handy because i shouldn't have to change the HD textures to get better outcomes from this pack, i think the developer could of added more variety of road textures from clean to dirty, bright & dark tars with different gradient materials for gravels.

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with HDRP.
HDRP is shader related. When no HDRP shader is assigned to the material the material will indeed appear in pink. All provided texture types, asphalt (clean and damaged), cobblestone, dirt, concrete work work in an HDRP project.
The HDRP materials are the same as for the Unity built-in renderer, the default materials in the package. The HDRP packages include these same materials with the HDRP shader version assigned.
The short PDF manual in /Assets/NatureManufacture/HD Roads/ includes instructions. First remove the following shaders:
/Assets/NatureManufacture/HD Roads/shaders/Standard_Metallic_Road_Shader_Parallax
/Assets/NatureManufacture/HD Roads/shaders/Standard_Metallic_Cross_Road_Shader_Parallax
After that import the respective HDRP package. That is it, there are no known issues with that.
In what way is it necessary to convert textures, what do you mean with that, for what purpose is this done?
Regarding damaged and clean asphalt textures, the advanced material/shader blends two textures. This can for example be used to blend the clean asphalt and damaged asphalt textures at the exact desired level, little damage, a lot of damage. The darkness/brightness of the textures can be controlled to your liking in a painting program.
Regarding the quality and the variation and for those who read this review, the textures in the package are visible in the screenshots and videos and include all HD PBR maps. They work for all Unity render pipelines, no need to convert these textures. If you like these textures then you may like this package.
