UI BASICS is a great package for both getting started with Unity and for simple UI. It has 9 long buttons and 98 small icon buttons with click animations.

It also contains 8 check boxes with select animations and a variety of miscellaneous buttons ( + , - , < , > ).

Finally, it includes bases for placing text.

All buttons include disabled effect.
