Bring proceduralism into your texturing workflow thanks to the versatility of Substance materials inside Unity.

This Superpack will allow you to generate countless material variants for your environments, resolve cases of visible repetition/tiling and fine-tune the materials appearance to your specific needs.

Each material is delivered in two forms :

• A Substance .sbsar file allowing for procedural smart material generation and additional fine-tuning. Each Substance .sbsar file can generate resolutions from 256x256 to 4096x4096 pixels.

• 1 set of standard texture maps : 2048x2048 pixels.

Each Substance .sbsar file allows for specific procedural changes to the material inside Unity : you can change or randomize the location and density of elements and shapes, add moss, change the water or snow level, the color tint, the resolution, etc.

These procedural changes allow you to fine-tune the material to your needs and create variants of the same material all inside Unity, as the Substance for Unity plug-in regenerates the texture maps and materials in real time.

The Substance 3D for Unity free plug-in needs to be already installed for the .sbsar files to work, you must have an /Adobe folder in your /Assets project folder.

All assets are compatible and tested with the Built-in, URP and HDRP pipelines.

The 16 materials in the superpack are composed of the following 4 packages :

- Rocky Cliff Smart Materials:

• Grey dry rock, with visible cracks

• Red ocher rock, canyon-style

• Humid dark grey rock, layered, with moss and mold

• Sandstone rock, layered, for desert environment

- Grass Smart Materials:

• Wild short grass

• Long grass clusters

• Autumn forest soil with dead leaves and mushrooms

• Clovers

- Ground Dirt Smart Materials:

• Dirt road, wheel tracks, central and side bumps

• Beach sand, adjustable dunes, pebbles and twigs

• Wet mud, adjustable noise, inprints and twigs

• Swamp, adjustable soil, water, thick sludge, algae and lilypads

- Tree Bark Smart Materials:

• Pine tree bark

• Birch tree bark

• Plane tree bark with exfoliating patterns

• Old tree thick bark

If you use a Unity version prior to 2020.3.27, the Substance 3D to Unity plug-in and its associated .sbsar files are not expected to work. Nonetheless, you can still use the texture maps provided in the package with standard Unity Materials.
