Why uSurvival?

Our project uses uSurvival as a basis

uSurvival is the most simple and easiest to use multiplayer Survival engine for one simple reason: 99% of the multiplayer projects fail because they are too complex.

Keeping both the code and the architecture incredibly simple is of utmost importance for the lone wolf developer.

We have added a huge number of additions and improvements that expand the standard capabilities

Changes and improvements

* System of registration and connection to the server

- New UI design

- the ability to send various messages by email (welcome letter, password recovery)

- email confirmation if this option is enabled

* System for creating and selecting a character (lobby) to enter the game

- New UI design with the ability to view the model of the character being created

- Gender selection

- Character customization (choice of clothes)

* New UI design of the main characteristics of the character (health, hunger, thirst, stamina, damage, defense)

- if the clan is not selected or not set, then spawn will occur at the starting location

- parameters are assigned to monsters in this zone (Health, damage, defense, attack speed, movement speed and respawn time)

* System of random appearance of objects on the map

- items are assigned that randomly (depending on the assigned chance) can appear at spawn points

And a lot of things have been added and improved

Networking

Project uses Mirror networking. With Mirror, the Server & Client are ONE project and share 95% of the code. (hence the name "Mirror"). Thanks to Mirror, uSurvival requires less than 7k lines of code while still scaling to 100+ CCU easily.

Save and Load - Database

Project uses SQLite by default, which works out of the box and without any additional setup whatsoever. SQLite was developed for Military Grade systems and has 100% test coverage while being extremely easy to use, which is just what we need. The database system can be replaced by any other system like MySQL as well.
