[Warning about updating your project!]

Please backup your project before updating any assets. For minor updates, you can update RCCP without deleting the whole folder. Update and import the latest version to the existing RCCP. All RCCP prefabs will be updated, if your own contents are connected to any prefab of RCCP, they will be overridden.

[Minor Updates]

No need to delete the old folder and import the latest version. Importing latest version to the existing folder would work fine.

[Major Updates]

Delete the Realistic Car Controller Pro folder, and import the latest version. Keep your own assets outside of this folder. If you are using your own settings and configurations, backup "Resources" folder in the folder and overwrite default folder after importing the latest version.

[Each Update]

Vehicles needs to be updated after each update. Please update your vehicles by simply selecting once them in your scene / prefab. If your vehicle is connected to a prefab, unpack it. After updating it, you can save your vehicle as a prefab again. Clicking and selecting the vehicle on your scene would update the vehicle with the editor script.

CORE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

1. STABILITY SYSTEM OVERHAUL

- Complete replacement of RCCP_Stability.cs with improved implementation
- Better ABS, ESP, and TCS algorithms
- Improved steering helper, traction helper, and angular drag helper
- More responsive and stable vehicle handling

2. AI CONTROLLER SIMPLIFICATION

- Simplified RCCP_AI.cs implementation while preserving all 4 behavior types
- Cleaner code structure with reduced complexity
- Better performance and maintainability
- FIXED: AI vehicles now properly fire spawn/destroy events
* Previously, AI vehicles never fired Event_OnRCCPAISpawned or Event_OnRCCPAIDestroyed
* This caused AI vehicles to not be added to RCCP_SceneManager.allVehicles list
* Now RCCP_CarController properly fires AI events when OtherAddonsManager.AI exists

3. SCRIPT EXECUTION ORDER OVERHAUL (CRITICAL FIX)

- Fixed timing issues with component initialization
- New RCCP_ScriptExecutionOrderManager.cs editor script
- Automatically sets up correct script execution order on import
- Menu tools for manual validation and reset:
* Tools -> BCG -> RCCP -> Validate Script Execution Order
* Tools -> BCG -> RCCP -> Reset Script Execution Order
* Tools -> BCG -> RCCP -> Show Script Execution Order

This fixes issues where child components (RCCP_Axle, RCCP_Light, RCCP_AI, etc.) would get disabled because their parent container wasn't registered yet.

- RCCP_CarController control booleans now have crystal clear tooltips:
* canControl: Clearly explains player input acceptance behavior
* externalControl: Clearly explains AI/external control mode

* RCCP_MainComponent (1 file): RCCP_CarController only
* RCCP_Component (~45 files): All vehicle components + individual upgrades
* RCCP_GenericComponent (34 files): AI waypoints, cameras, demo scripts, singletons
* RCCP_UIComponent (35 files): All UI scripts
* RCCP_UpgradeComponent (8 files): Manager scripts (handle save/load)
- VehicleUpgrade architecture verified correct:
* Individual upgrades (Engine, Brake, etc.) extend RCCP_Component
* Managers (UpgradeManager, PaintManager, etc.) extend RCCP_UpgradeComponent
- Editor duplicate tooltips removed from 9 editor scripts to prevent conflicts with runtime [Tooltip] attributes

7. SCENE MANAGER

- Vehicle registration verified for both player and AI vehicles
- Both register via OnRCCPSpawned and OnRCCPAISpawned events
- allVehicles list properly maintained
- FIXED: Camera target not set when vehicle is pre-placed in scene
* Previously, if a vehicle existed in the scene before gameplay started,
the camera would not receive the vehicle as its target
* Now RCCP_Events_OnRCCPCameraSpawned checks for existing player vehicle
and sets camera target immediately upon camera spawn

8. INPUT SYSTEM

- Input P vs V usage verified throughout codebase
- _P inputs: Player/AI requests from RCCP_InputManager
- _V inputs: Aggregated component outputs

9. EDITOR SCRIPTS

- Updated Renderer Pipeline Converter, supports Unity 6.3
