We are thrilled to announce the release in July 2024 of the international version of CRI ADX LE, which was until now provided for free exclusively in Japan.
Developers will now be able to use this lite version of CRI ADX to implement their own sound effects!

The "CRI ADX Unity Plugin for the Asset Store" (CRI ADX UP) will stop being available at the same time. The projects using this SDK can easily be migrated to ADX LE as the features are identical.
CRI ADX UP updates via the Unity Asset Store will end in July, and future updates will be done via CRI ADX LE.

Another announcement will be made when the homepage for CRI ADX LE goes online.

[About the CRI ADX Unity Plugin for the Asset Store]

This asset is a sound system plug-in for Windows and Mac that can be used for commercial game development. A dedicated tool can be downloaded from the support site to author the sounds. The support site also provides technical support.

[About CRI ADX]

CRI ADX2 is the latest version of the renowned sound middleware from CRIWARE, which has been used in more than 3700 titles worldwide over the last 20 years.

The sound data to be played back with CRI ADX 2 is created in CRI AtomCraft, a special authoring tool for Windows that can be downloaded for free by registering on the support site.

Using ADX2, a sound designer can create interactive audio assets easily, using familiar concepts such as tracks, timelines, waveforms, filters, envelopes and so on. These sounds can then be implemented in the game effortlessly.

[Features of the CRI ADX Unity Plugin for the Asset Store]

STEP.2 Create an account on the Support Site.

STEP.3 Download the CRI ADX Unity Plugin SDK (tools / manual) from the Support Site.

STEP.4 Register as a user using the Authorization Tool.
